The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction of Danespo’s New Research & Development Facilities will be held on Monday 22nd of January 2018
The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new Research & Development Facilities, which will frame the development environment in which future potato plants will be developed, will be performed by the Mayor of Vejle Municipality, Jens Ejner Christensen, Monday 22nd of January 2018 at 12 noon.
- The development in biotechnology is moving rapidly at the moment and it is pleasing and also essential for our continued business development that we establish a knowledge center with threads to the rest of the world, which is the upcoming market for our potato varieties. At the same time, it is a great opportunity for us as a company to gather our different departments, and in that way provide even better opportunities to utilise the synergies more than we do today. We are pleased that we can stay in Give and be part of Vejle Municipality's strong profile as a food region, says Jens Holstborg, CEO in Danespo.
With the new construction, Danespo will unify the Research & Development department with the rest of the organization. This means that both a breeding station, new greenhouses and a new headquarter will be built. The new facilities will provide the frame for future potato development.
